E-Commerce Inventory Manager
We are looking for a result-driven E-Commerce Inventory Manager who will lead and be responsible for all retail inventory-related functions. As an E-Commerce Inventory Manager, your duties and responsibilities will include working closely with The Village Retail Team and its vendors to ensure success by implementing a robust inventory system that manages inventory efficiently. You should also be able to promptly resolve inventory-related complaints and ensure maximum store and vendor satisfaction. To be successful as an E-Commerce Inventory Manager, you should stay up-to-date with inventory product features and maintain our store’s inventory to high standards.
The ideal candidate will provide excellent and professional service, while consistently meeting the store’s inventory goals.
Inventory Management
- Shopify Experience required
- Track and manage inventory
- Set up and manage inventory management software
- Manage vendor inventory requests and scheduling
- Document and maintain the processes for all inventory-related functions such as min/max thresholds, forecasting, transfers, and inventory adjustments.
- After the physical inventory is completed, ensure all adjustments are updated and completed. Work with the retail team to document formal inventory reconciliations for merchandise.
- Work with brands to ensure they are meeting their inventory goals
- Set up and monitor low inventory reminders for all vendors and store brand items
- Coordinate inventory control with the retail team to ensure low stock, out of stock, negative on hand, and computer inventory is correct.
- Analyze and determine reasons for negative inventory and margins.
- Review store statistical reports for any abnormal or erroneous data.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of e-commerce management
- Experience with Marketplace management and multi-vendor software is a plus
- Proven knowledge of Google Analytics
- Knowledge of Inventory management
- Knowledge of Shopify and the Shopify ecosystem
- Experience working for a data-driven, direct-to-consumer e-commerce brand on Shopify.
- Knowledge of Google Workspace
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with E-commerce/Digital Commerce tools and vendors
Remote/ Part Time/ $25 per hour
- 25-30 hours, maximum
- Monday to Friday
- Day shift, Night shift and Weekends
